Free stuff in Kosovo and Albania

Free stuff on Afër is for things their owners don't want to sell: here people give items away, swap them or lend them to others.

Listings in this category are always free of charge: no price can be set, and every listing shows as free. Who gets an item is up to the giver: first come, first served, or whoever the giver chooses. If you give something away, say in the listing how you decide and when the item can be collected.

Write to the giver in Afër's protected chat, say when you can collect the item and keep the appointment, or cancel in good time so the next person gets a chance. When you swap, agree in the chat on exactly what is exchanged for what; when you lend or borrow, agree on when the item comes back and in what condition.

Even when no money changes hands, meet in a public place in daylight where you can, and if you collect from someone's home, take someone with you. Never pay a delivery or reservation fee for a free item: Afër has no payment handling or shipping. Items that are not allowed on Afër stay forbidden even when they are given away, and listings or users that seem wrong can be reported.
