Afër is the name of the platform. “aferteje” is the spelling used for the domain and is not a separate operator.

Afër provides an online marketplace through which users can, in particular, publish listings, search for offers, communicate with one another and use the other platform functions offered for these purposes.

As a rule, Afër is not the seller or buyer of the goods or services offered by users and does not become a contracting party to a transaction concluded between users merely by providing the platform.

Afër currently does not provide its own payment processing, shipping or escrow service for transactions between users.

An Afër account is the same on the website aferteje.com and in the Afër app. This is how you have your account and the associated data deleted:

In the settings: Sign in and open “Profile”, then “Settings” (aferteje.com/en/llogaria/cilesimet) and there “Delete account”. Confirm your identity again and submit the request. Afër confirms the request by e-mail with a reference.

By e-mail: Anyone who can no longer sign in or cannot delete their account themselves, for example because it is suspended, writes to info@aferteje.com and gives the e-mail address of the account, ideally from that address. Afër verifies the identity and starts the deletion.

With the request the account is blocked immediately; the profile, listings and images are no longer publicly visible. The request cannot be withdrawn. Within 30 days of the request at the latest, Afër deletes the account, the associated data and the images.

The people the account talked to keep their conversation with the deleted account read-only for up to 12 months after the last message. Reviews written by the deleted account remain as a number without a name. Afër keeps individual records, for example about reports, confirmed transactions and the acceptance of the terms of use, for as long as is necessary to handle violations or for legal reasons, and deletes them afterwards.

Notices of potentially unlawful content, misuse of the platform or other legal matters can also be sent to info@aferteje.com.

Where a reporting function for certain content is available within Afër, it can be used in addition.
