Neighbourhood help in Kosovo and Albania

Neighbourhood help on Afër is for small favours between neighbours: offering or asking for help, for example with shopping, a small move or the garden, lost and found items, and community activities. Things to lend have their own place under Free stuff.

Write to each other in Afër's protected chat and agree there on what is needed, when and for how long. Afër has no payment handling. If someone offers or expects something in return, agree on it openly in the chat, and never send money in advance to someone you have not met.

When someone helps you at home, make sure another person is there the first time, and don't hand over keys or door codes to someone you have only just met. For community activities, choose a public meeting place.

Lost or found something? Post it in the Lost & Found subcategory and choose the municipality where it was lost or found. Before you return a found item, ask the person to describe it or show that it belongs to them, and hand it over in a public place. Lost animals have their own Lost & Found subcategory under Pets.
