Animal listings may only be published if the offer is permitted under the applicable law. Whoever offers an animal is responsible for meeting the legal requirements for that animal and that kind of offer. Afër can restrict or remove animal listings if there is doubt about their lawfulness or if they break the platform rules.

An animal is a decision for years, not a quick purchase. Ask in Afër's protected chat about the animal's age, health, temperament and care, and whether there are veterinary records. Meet the animal where it lives before you decide, and with a young animal, ask to see it together with its mother.

Plan the handover calmly: bring a suitable carrier or lead, ask what the animal eats and what it is used to, and take it home only if you can look after it for good. In Kosovo prices are in euros; in Albania the seller chooses between lek (ALL) and euros. Afër has no payment handling, shipping or escrow, so never pay in advance for an animal you have not seen.
